With the busy graduation, wedding and party season upon us, we find ourselves happily occupied with all sorts of catered celebrations large and small. “We really never set out to become a catering company, ” Doug commented one afternoon in the kitchen during a bustling tasting session. “People simply came to us asking if we could do a party here or there. Through lots of great word-of-mouth buzz one thing lead to another,” Doug explained.

Yes indeed this little catering thing has become a big part of what we do here at fire-and did I mention we love doing it? ”The biggest surprise for me was how much we enjoy the catering. It’s really quite special to work with families to help them plan the celebrations that will forever define a part of their lives,” Doug reflected. At fire we view a catered affair as an extension of the restaurant. We bring the same fresh, local, and house-made ethic to our catered events. Catering, however, allows us to customize every last detail to suit the whims of our clients and their visions of their events. Also, needless to say, catering allows us to bring the restaurant to an exciting, meaningful, or huge venue of our clients own selection. We personalize every last detail. Every menu is created from scratch. With the linens, the table settings, the flowers even the lighting we help you to select every detail to make your event a true personal statement. We love the creative flexibility this allows.

Recently a client requested a tasting for two very large parties she is hosting this fall. Here are just a few photos from that tasting. We hope you can see the creativity, the quality and the craftsmanship that goes into each and every fire catered event. Is there a celebration in your future? If so we hope you’ll consider fire.
