In truth we love all the season; but there is something special about summer. Since we tend to view most things through the perspective of food, we just adore the differing culinary potential each change of season brings. Whereas fall’s produce offerings require long slow braising and roasting to coax subtile rich flavors; Summer is the opposite. Summer simply wows us with colorful and bright flavors that scream FRESH! Sometimes the gorgeous produce our local farmers offer us is so stunning and bursting with juicy flavors that we just want to gently handle it in the kitchen and serve it proudly with the love and respect it deserves and WOW-what flavor!
Last week marked our summer menu change. The staff tasting was a lovely little introduction to the new dishes of the season.
