Well there has been plenty going on here at the restaurant. Doug has been fully engaged in knitting together the 1001 little details for the opening of Provenance and Provenance Cafe at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Staffing for these new ventures is critical. In our post next week we’ll tell you a little more about how this happens. We’ve also been busy putting together details for an excellent fall calendar of events at fire. Despite the bust of activity though the last many days of (much needed) rain and grey skies portends a change of season which has us a bit wistful. While we love the transition of summer to fall with the harvest, the holidays and all of the rich and wonderful flavors of the season, we’re still just a little misty eyed to see summer go.
So dear reader, this week we’ve looked back through the photo archive over the last few months and we’ve come up with a little visual ode to summer. Indulge us if we get all sappy-but it was certainly a wonderful few months and we’d like to take one last look and savor it again with you. Enjoy! Post and photos by Amy Viny

Can’t wait for Provenance! This is quite a turn for the CMA, which had nowhere to go but up with the food franchise. Congratulations and best wishes for fantastic success!
Thanks for your kind words Kay!
